The story is about a serial killer, R, who has been murdering bad people in a way that he thinks is right. The human desire for control from on high carries irrationality and brutality. Does the class hierarchy necessarily hold power? Humans and animals, good and evil. No one can make the right decision; right or wrong is only in mind.
